The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
