Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
